In your answer you must refer to one or more religious traditions.

Christianity

Some Unitarians Christians believe that children should be allowed to choose their own faith.

They often expose their children to many different religions, so that the child can make an informed choice about which one to practice (if any).

Islam

They might also send their children to school to study the Qur’an.

They therefore teach them about the forms of worship and the fundamental principles of Islam.

Some Muslims believe that teaching their children about Islam is one of a their MOST important duties as a parent.

Buddhism

Some Buddhists believe that a parent should introduce their child to the dhamma (the teachings of the Buddha) as early as possible.

They want their children to have as much time as possible to begin practicing the Noble Eightfold Path (or the Six Perfections), so they have the best possible chance at becoming enlightened.
