• Christians celebrate Easter because it reminds them that God is OMNIBENEVOLENT (‘all-loving’).

• The Bible tells us that ‘God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life’ (John 3. 16).

• On Easter Christians remember that Jesus died to save the whole world, proving that God really is omnibenevolent.

• Another reason they celebrate Easter is because it reminds them that God is OMNIPOTENT (‘all-powerful’).

• The Bible tells us that ‘God raised Jesus from the dead and set him free from the pain of death, because death could not hold him’ (Acts 2. 24).

• Only an all-powerful God is more powerful than death, proving that God must be omnipotent.
